Sinossi

Yuuta Hibiki wakes up in Rikka Takarada's room, noticing two things: he has no memories and can hear a mysterious voice calling his name from a nearby room. Behind an old computer screen, he finds a robot that introduces itself as Hyper Agent Gridman. To Yuuta's surprise, Rikka cannot hear Gridman or see the ominous monsters looming over a thick fog that envelops the town outside.

Sfondo

SSSS.Gridman is an anime adaptation of the Tokusatsu show, Hyper-Agent Gridman, created by Tsuburaya Productions. The original aired in 1993-1994 and, like other Tokusatsu shows, featured live-action, costumed actors battling giant monsters. The original Gridman was adapted into The Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad and was inspired by Ultraman, another Tokusatsu franchise by Tsuburaya Productions. The series won the 50th Seiun Award for Best Dramatic Presentation in 2019.
