Sinopse
In a far-off future, Japan's cities are cut off from one another, with tourism and immigration heavily restricted. Each region is governed by an AI moderator that shapes its domain according to its own vision. Citizens are expected to fulfill their roles in maintaining this ideal. However, not everyone is content with the narrow focus of their birth city, and some seek illegal assistance to relocate to a more suitable cluster. By day, Equa, Ferres, and Martese are ordinary high school students. By night, they are Extractors, smuggling civilians across city borders. They risk their lives to give their clients a fresh start, but as the cluster moderators become increasingly aware of their actions, the dangers of extraction escalate.

Estab-Life: Great Escape is an anime adaptation that is part of the Estab-Life multimedia project created by Gorou Taniguchi. The series was released on Blu-ray in Japan on September 2, 2022.
