Sinopse
Yoshimura Sumimura vem de uma linhagem de "Kekkaishi," indivíduos dotados de habilidades sobrenaturais para derrotar criaturas malignas conhecidas como Ayakashi que ocasionalmente invadem o reino humano a partir de Karasumori. Esta terra também é o local da escola secundária de Yoshimura. Agora, ele deve defender sua amada escola e cidade natal dessas ameaças. No entanto, ele preferiria passar seu tempo assando bolos em vez de lutar contra as criaturas desagradáveis que aparecem à noite. Felizmente, Yoshimura não está sozinho em sua missão. Sua amiga de infância e vizinha, Tokine Yukimura, junta-se a ele nessa empreitada justa. Apesar de suas clãs rivais, os dois formam uma equipe excepcional.
