Synopsis
In a colonized Mars, where robotic servants called "dolls" have supplanted children, Layla, a proficient warrior with a sorrowful history, roams the planet. She is accompanied by Nei, an unusual doll with undisclosed connections to Layla, and Speedy, a doll creator. The founders of Mars perceive the trio as a menace to their society, and with every assault on Layla and Nei, more fragments of their enigmatic past and future come to light.
