Rokushin Gattai GodMars (1982)

The film serves as a recap of the first 25 episodes of the TV series. In 1982, a planetary alignment brought about a trial for humanity and caused upheaval on Earth. During the conflict, a light fell onto the Myojinsho reef, scattering five lights around the Earth. Seventeen years later, in 1999, humanity had developed the entire solar system and begun venturing into outer space. The Earth Defense Army formed an elite squad, Crasher, to address various space incidents. Myojin Takeru, a member of the team, was found in the light that fell on the Myojinsho reef. He was actually Mars, born on the planet Gishin. As he grew up, he heard an otherworldly voice commanding him to halt humanity's space advancement and explode the Earth. However, Mars, raised as a human, rejected the order and resolved to face his fate.
