Sinopsis
This sports manga focuses on ordinary boys, not heroes, and depicts the growth of the Sumiya 2 junior high school baseball team and its successive captains and players in downtown Tokyo. Takao Taniguchi, a substitute player from the prestigious Aoba Gakuin junior high school, transfers to Sumiya 2 and becomes the baseball club's captain. After rigorous training, the team aims to reach the regional preliminaries' final game against Aoba Gakuin.
