Completed in just two months after finishing Playground, this film was inspired by optical illusions like Escher's paintings. Using isometric drawings, the creator aimed to make a great film using only transformations of rectangular parallelepipeds. The method of geometric animation, previously used in Metropolis, was applied here. Alongside "cell" animation, the creator continues to explore this technique, hoping to discover a third alternative method for future films.
