Synopsis

Denji's life is far from ordinary, burdened by his father's overwhelming debt. His only companion is Pochita, a chainsaw devil, with whom he hunts devils for money that ultimately goes to the yakuza. Denji dreams of a simple life with good food and a beautiful girlfriend, but a betrayal by the yakuza leads to his untimely death. However, Pochita merges with Denji, granting him devil powers and transforming him into a hybrid capable of turning his body parts into chainsaws. The Public Safety Bureau's elite devil hunter, Makima, takes him in, offering him a chance at the life he desires if he obeys her commands.
