Synopsis
Cheerful teenager Ichika Usami has a passion for sweets, inspired by her mother's baking. To celebrate her mother's return from overseas, she attempts to bake a cake herself. Her efforts are interrupted when a dog-like fairy named Pekorin crashes into her kitchen. With Pekorin's assistance, Ichika successfully bakes her cake. However, an imp named Gummy bursts in and tries to steal the cake's "kirakiraru," a magical power that brings happiness to sweets. Though Ichika initially offers her cake to Gummy to protect Pekorin, the fairy helps her realize the importance of the treat and the love it represents. As the kirakiraru within Ichika's cake grows, it transforms into trinkets that grant her the power to become Cure Whip, a hero known as a Pretty Cure. Using her newfound abilities, she battles kirakiraru thieves whenever they appear, protecting Ichigozaka's sweets and finding colorful new allies along the way.
