Synopsis

After bonding over a tragic loss, Nanachi joins Riko and Reg on their journey into the Abyss. The Sea of Corpses, the fifth layer, is the deepest level from which travelers can return without losing their human form. Bondrewd, a masked sadist, stands between the children and their adventure. His horrific laboratory serves as a final checkpoint, and he has no desire to allow Riko's party to pass through without a cost. Nanachi, deeply scarred by Bondrewd's impact on their childhood, is engulfed in turmoil over his resurgence. Bondrewd's apparent weakness is Prushka, a brash child who claims to be his daughter. Riko, Reg, and Nanachi befriend Prushka and work with her to overcome her father's machinations and breach the Abyss's sixth layer.
