Synopsis
Based on Yokoyama Mitsuteru's manga, this film follows Kaneda Shotaro, a young detective, and his giant robot, Tetsujin 28, in post-World War II Tokyo. Shotaro's missing brother resurfaces, trained as a pilot for a soldier robot Japan developed during the war. Meanwhile, "Destruction Bombs" created by Shotaro's father, Professor Kaneda, threaten Tokyo.
